Having stayed at The Rio since its beginning, I noticed quite a change when it was acquired by Harrahs a few years ago. Of course, Las Vegas itself has changed dramatically over the past 10 years and The Rio seems to be following the trend toward family and low roller. I prefer the old Vegas as well as the original Rio.

Just a little legal disclaimer to cover my ass...
